Jillian Tindale and Jonathan Turnbull founded Riders Refuge in 2008 the company was born out of our love of the mountains, passion for food and desire to work together. We have between us more than 18 years working experience in the Alpine holiday market particularly in the Chalet sector having done everything from running a chalet to managing resorts and areas for the larger tour operator. Having been in the French Alps since 2000 and working in many different resorts we decided to permanently move to Morzine in 2008 so we could enjoy all that the mountains have to offer winter and summer and run our own chalet company for people who, like us, love outdoor pursuits.

We aim to bring together all of our savoir-faire and provide active alpine summer holidays with fabulous food, plenty of good wine and great service.
