Located in the Haute Savoie area of the French Alps, Morzine is ideally situated for your snowboard holiday at just over an hour from Geneva airport.
The town of Morzine has managed to maintain its authentic alpine charm despite the growth of tourism it has kept traditional architecture of wood built chalets to give a truly magical feeling.
The bustling town has wide variety of shops selling everything from traditional savoyarde produce to the latest boarding gear. At night there is good mix of bars and clubs providing everything from chill out to clubbing into the small hours.

Riders Refuge’s Morzine catered chalet is at the heart of the Portes Du Soleil, one of the largest lift linked areas in the world, offering a vast domain and a huge variety of terrain.
Commitment to Freestyle
For years now the Portes Du Soleil has been a huge draw for freestyle riders with 9 snowparks with jumps, hips, rails and air bags all immaculately maintained by the Portes Du Soleils’ team of dedicated park shapers. The Avoriaz park is used by the French team to train whilst in Les Crosets park the Swiss team do likewise.
The Stash
Burton snowboards in association with the Portes Du Soleil have created ‘The Stash’ which uses natural elements such as tree trunks to create hits and rails for a unique free ride park.
